Notice to students over the age of 21: On April 4th, 2019, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed a bill that restricts public school funding to those under the age of 22. ABQ Charter Academy can no longer accept any students over the age of 21. We encourage you to contact Gordon Bernell Charter School at (505) 916-8618. They are working to develop alternatives for people impacted by this law.
If you are currently 21, your name would need to come up on our waiting list prior to your 22nd birthday in order for you to enroll with us.
NOTE: The minimum age for enrollment is 16, and the maximum age is 21.
If you’re interested in attending ABQ Charter Academy, please click the button below to create a Lotterease account and place your name on our waiting list. When your name gets to the top of the list, you will receive an email and a text to schedule an enrollment appointment.
If you don’t have an email address, please call Donna Baca at 505-242-6640 ext. 1108 and we will create a Lotterease account for you.
Note: if you are 18 or older, please use your information for both the parent information section and student information section.
If your name is already on our waiting list and you’d like see where you are on the list, please click the button below and locate your information. The number to the left of your name is your placement on the list.
You must bring the documents listed below to your enrollment appointment:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of address (such as a utility bill)
- Immunization Records
- Withdrawal form from your last high school
- Official transcript from your last high school
- A copy of your IEP if you’ve received Special Education services
If a sibling of the person applying to enroll is already enrolled with us, please call Donna Baca at 505-242-6640 ext. 1108 and your application will be moved to the top of our waiting list.
