Hello, ABQCA families. Now that one week of school closure is behind us, we’ve received some guidance from the state PED and the federal Department of Education regarding the services we can provide. We want you to know that our staff is here for each family to help you with any needs or concerns you may have.
At this point, we know that PED has sent an application to the federal government asking for a waiver from the US DOE that would cancel the required standardized testing in Math, Reading, and Science (PSAT, SAT, and NMASR). We are waiting for more guidance regarding graduation requirements for the Class of 2020.
Although our school building has been ordered to close, all scholars are welcome to work on their curriculum from home, and our teachers are available to scholars via phone and email. Some of the questions below ask about your status with working from home, and whether or not you need assistance with accessing your coursework.
Please complete the survey below in as much detail as possible. After we collect the survey results, we will reach out to each family regarding next steps.
Take care, stay at home, and please stay healthy.
If you have more than one person in your family attending our school, please fill out the survey for each scholar. Thank you!
